Target Practice

Privacy

Privacy Policy

Plain-language policy for student data, privacy, AI processing, payments, and scholarship workflows.

Privacy notice

This privacy policy explains how Target Practice handles student, parent, product, support, analytics, scholarship workflow, and billing-related data.

13+ requirement

Target Practice is intended for users age 13 or older. We do not ask for dates of birth; age gates should store only eligibility acknowledgement when needed. If you believe a child under 13 provided information without verifiable parental consent, contact founder@targetpracticelearning.com for product support, with founder@targetpracticelearning.com as the backup administrative contact so we can delete it.

Student data we may collect

We may collect email, display name, account role, diagnostic answers, selected test type, score goals, practice attempts, progress data, support messages, AI tutor/chat messages, feedback, scholarship profile fields, sourced scholarship URLs, extracted scholarship requirement fields, anonymous session identifiers, and subscription or Stripe identifiers. We avoid collecting school IDs, official transcripts, district records, or dates of birth.

Why we collect it

We use student data to operate diagnostics, recommend practice, save progress, organize scholarship workflows, provide support, maintain subscriptions, debug issues, and improve educational features. Analytics should use user IDs or anonymous session identifiers rather than names or emails whenever practical.

Students and parents

Target Practice is intended for student use with parent or guardian involvement when a student is a minor. Parent and student account roles should remain separate so progress, billing, and parent visibility do not get mixed together.

AI processing

AI-assisted explanations and support may be processed by AI providers. Do not enter full names, school identifiers, student IDs, addresses, health details, financial information, or other unnecessary personal information into AI chat or support prompts. We may redact common identifiers before AI processing, but users should still avoid sharing sensitive details.

No sale of student data

We do not sell student personal information or use student data for third-party advertising.

School and FERPA-related data

Target Practice is not an official school records system. Do not use it to store official transcripts, district records, school IDs, or teacher-uploaded identifiable records.

What not to enter

Do not enter payment card numbers, Social Security numbers, medical information, tax records, passwords, private portal credentials, third-party account logins, API keys, or other highly sensitive personal information into product forms or support messages.

Payments

Paid plans use Stripe-hosted checkout and billing surfaces. Payment card data should be entered only into Stripe-hosted or Stripe-controlled checkout surfaces. Target Practice stores Stripe customer, checkout, subscription, or payment method identifiers only, not raw card numbers, CVC, or expiration details.

Third-party sources

If you paste public scholarship page text or source URLs, the product may store a limited excerpt and extracted fields to help you verify requirements. Do not paste private portal pages, tax records, Social Security numbers, medical information, or copyrighted materials you do not have permission to use.

AP Classroom and external study evidence

When you use AP Classroom, Bluebook, Khan Academy, Quizlet, ACT, tutor-report, or other outside-resource bridge workflows, Target Practice is designed to store only performance metadata and user summaries: scores, unit names, skill labels, question numbers, timing notes, rubric rows, screenshot summaries, and links when provided. It should not store third-party account credentials, protected prompt text, answer choices, passages, explanations, scoring guidelines, private portal pages, or copied study-set content.

Third-party account access

Target Practice does not log into AP Classroom, Quizlet, Khan Academy, Bluebook, ACT, school portals, scholarship portals, or other third-party accounts for users. Do not provide credentials, session tokens, API keys, or private links. Do not use the service to scrape, bulk export, bypass limits, or automate access to another service.

Protected third-party content

Target Practice uses third-party results as performance signals only. Do not copy official questions, passages, answer choices, explanations, scoring guidelines, paid prep-book content, private portal pages, or copied study-set content unless you have permission. Scores, unit names, skill labels, question numbers, timing notes, and your own short summaries are enough.

Deletion and export requests

Use the support page or email founder@targetpracticelearning.com for product support, with founder@targetpracticelearning.com as the backup administrative contact to request account deletion, data deletion, or a copy of available account data. The deletion workflow should remove or anonymize profile data, progress, quiz attempts, saved answers, AI/support chat logs, scholarship workflow data, subscription references, and analytics references where legally and technically feasible.
